Bounce Imaging, the Buffalo-based startup known for its tactical 360-degree cameras, has secured a $200,000 investment from Brown and White Ventures. This funding aims to increase production capacity at their Hamburg facility as demand grows among law enforcement, federal agencies, and search-and-rescue teams.

The investment represents a strategic shift for the company, which previously gained recognition as a winner in the 43North startup competition. By scaling its local manufacturing operations, Bounce Imaging expects to meet orders from military units and tactical teams that require immediate situational awareness tools. The company currently holds significant defense and security contracts, including work with the Department of Defense.

Brown and White Ventures, a private capital fund established by St. Bonaventure University alumni, is backing the company to support regional growth in Western New York. The fund, while independent of the university, directs a portion of its profits back to the St. Bonaventure School of Business. This capital injection underscores the growing influence of specialized manufacturing in the regional economy.

Bounce Imaging has established a reputation for its proprietary omnidirectional camera technology. These devices eliminate blind spots for tactical teams, a critical factor for safety in high-stakes environments. With this new financial backing, the firm plans to prioritize the development of next-generation tactical sensors to keep pace with global security requirements. The company now services more than 600 public safety and military organizations.
