Stacey Feeley, new executive director of 20Fathoms, poses for a professional portrait.

20Fathoms has appointed Stacey Feeley as its new executive director. Feeley brings over two decades of experience in business leadership, including her tenure as the co-founder and former CEO of GoSili, Inc. During her time at GoSili, she managed global product development, secured funding, and navigated multiple acquisitions. Her background is a direct match for the needs of the Traverse City startup ecosystem.

This change comes as 20Fathoms prepares for a period of growth in the regional BlueTech industry. The nonprofit recently partnered with the venture firm gener8tor to establish the Northern Michigan BlueTech Accelerator. This initiative focuses on water technology startups, addressing areas such as infrastructure, monitoring, and freshwater resilience.

Feeley will oversee the organization's day-to-day operations while continuing to provide mentorship and business support to local entrepreneurs. Board chair Ashley Sloat noted that Feeley’s hands-on experience in building a company from the ground up will be instrumental in the next phase of development for the incubator.

Beyond her new role, Feeley remains active in supporting female founders through her involvement with the Boundless Futures Foundation. Her work with this organization provides financial and strategic resources for early-stage companies. As the regional tech scene continues to evolve, 20Fathoms aims to leverage this leadership to expand its programming throughout 2027.
