John Paulson says we are in the early stages of a long-term bull market for gold
Billionaire investor John Paulson expects gold to remain in a long-term bull market. During a recent interview, he stated that the world is in the early stages of this trend as interest in bullion grows among both central banks and the private sector.
Paulson highlighted a shift in global monetary dynamics. He believes investors are losing faith in paper currencies and viewing gold as a more dependable reserve asset. This institutional demand remains a major factor in his outlook for the precious metal.
Beyond physical bullion, Paulson suggests that the most effective way to gain exposure is through gold mining stocks. He specifically mentioned early-stage miners with significant undeveloped resources as prime targets for those looking to benefit from rising prices.
Paulson currently serves as co-chairman of NovaGold Resources. The company recently moved to acquire his firm's stake in the Donlin Gold project located in Alaska. He continues to point toward companies with large, proven resource bases as the primary vehicles for capturing long-term value in the sector.
