Trump Media & Technology Group is launching a new commercial service called Truth API. Starting August 1, this tool will provide institutional clients and trading firms with high-speed, direct access to influential posts on the Truth Social platform. The company intends to sell these updates in milliseconds to financial firms that rely on rapid information to guide their trading decisions.

Because the social media posts of President Donald Trump frequently trigger volatility in global markets, financial firms prioritize immediate access to his statements. Historically, traders and analysts monitored the platform manually. This new subscription-based feed aims to formalize that process by delivering data directly to firm systems around the clock. The company expects the service to provide a new revenue stream for the business, which currently operates at a loss.

Interim boss Kevin McGurn stated that the company will also take steps to block unauthorized scraping of its data. This policy shift forces firms that previously monitored the site independently to transition to the official paid feed. While many social media companies sell data access, this situation involves the president as the primary content source and majority shareholder in the company hosting the data.

Financial experts suggest that firms trading based on news headlines may feel pressured to purchase the service to maintain a competitive position. Although some legal analysts note that the practice does not appear to violate federal securities laws, the intersection of the president's business interests and his official communication channel remains a subject of intense observation. Trump Media has not yet disclosed the pricing structure for this high-speed feed.
