Construction at 30-25 Queens Boulevard in Long Island City is moving ahead as the 46-story skyscraper continues its climb. Designed by CetraRuddy Architecture and developed by Baron Property Group and LargaVista, the 525-foot structure will add 561 residential units to the neighborhood. Of these units, 169 are reserved for affordable housing.
The project sits at a prime location near Queens Plaza, occupying space that formerly served as a parking lot, gas station, and low-rise commercial site. The site offers transit access via the E, M, and R trains. With 21,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, this tower represents a significant addition to the local commercial and residential landscape.
Work on the concrete superstructure reached the one-quarter mark this summer. Current activity is expected to accelerate as the building passes its first major setback. Topping out is projected for this winter, with construction slated for completion in 2028.
Future residents will have access to a range of amenities, including a basketball court, pickleball court, fitness center, and a private rooftop pool situated 500 feet above the street. Financing for the project includes $388.5 million in construction debt provided by Starwood Capital Group, Gotham Organization, and Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies.
