Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park announced an extension for its indoor Chihuly exhibition, CHIHULY: Radiant Forms. The gallery display will remain open through January 10, 2027. This decision follows high visitor demand that exceeded original expectations. The exhibition showcases four decades of work by Dale Chihuly and features his signature large-scale glass sculptures. These pieces are recognized for their vibrant colors and organic shapes. The indoor installation provides an in-depth view of the artist’s evolution within the studio glass movement. It also complements the permanent Chihuly pieces already housed at the location. Visitors can view the collection daily, though timed entry is required for access. Tickets for adults are priced at $9, while tickets for children between ages 3 and 13 cost $5. Members of the park receive a 10% discount on these prices. Tickets are available for purchase online or at the on-site ticketing center. While the indoor exhibition will continue into the new year, the outdoor component across the grounds closes on November 1, 2026. That date marks the beginning of the site's transition for the upcoming ENLIGHTEN presentation. The staff at the gardens noted that the response to the glass sculptures has been significant, prompting the two-month extension to allow more public access. This exhibition serves as a major draw for art enthusiasts across the Midwest and visitors from further distances.
