A Quarter-Century Partnership Ends
Pratt Institute and Munson will end their academic partnership in June 2028. This decision terminates a 25-year arrangement that allowed fine arts students to begin their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Utica before transferring to the main campus in Brooklyn.
The separation marks a shift for art education in Central New York. Students currently enrolled are unaffected by this change. However, incoming students starting in 2027 will now spend only their first year in Utica. The remaining years of their degree will occur in New York City.
