Larry the Cable Guy is currently recovering at home following a recent health emergency. The stand-up comedian was hospitalized in Lincoln, Nebraska, late Thursday night after medical professionals diagnosed him with appendicitis.
He remained in the hospital for several days to receive treatment. His representative confirmed that he was discharged on Saturday and is now resting at home. The performer is reported to be feeling significantly better.
While the situation did not force the cancellation of any live comedy performances, it did cause a change in his professional schedule. Larry the Cable Guy had to postpone upcoming tapings for his new CBS series, American Mayhem. This weekly comedy clip show will resume production once he is healthy enough to return to the set.
