She stated that her decision aims to ensure she remains capable of performing in the future by addressing her current well-being.
Management agency HYBE issued a statement in response to the news. The company confirmed their support for the singer and noted that the safety and health of their artists remain their primary objective. They indicated they will monitor her progress throughout this period.
This decision follows a previous hiatus within the group. Member Manon Bannerman announced a similar break earlier this year in February to focus on her health and has not yet returned to public appearances or group activities.
Katseye maintains its current schedule for upcoming events. The group is set to appear on The Tonight Show on August 12. This follows their performance at the 88rising Head in the Clouds Festival in Los Angeles.
