Andy Williams died Saturday night at the age of 48. He collapsed at the end of a tag team match in Millvale, Pennsylvania, during an event hosted by Enjoy Wrestling. Medical staff on site attempted CPR until an ambulance reached the venue.

Williams played a central role in Every Time I Die from its start in 1998 until the band split in 2022. He performed on all nine of their studio records, including the final 2021 release, Radical. His guitar work anchored the band’s sound for over two decades. Many fans viewed his contribution as essential to the identity of the group, which gained a reputation for intense live performances.

He transitioned into professional wrestling during the 2010s. Williams initially navigated the independent circuit before signing with All Elite Wrestling. He made his official debut as The Butcher in 2019. He often partnered with Jesse “The Blade” Guilmette in the ring. Their tag team relationship continued for years, including their final appearance together in the Millvale match.

All Elite Wrestling released a formal statement acknowledging the loss. The organization noted his transition from music to wrestling and his reputation for being respected by peers in both arenas. After Every Time I Die disbanded, Williams turned his attention to a new group called Atomic Rule. He remained active in this project until his death.
