BTS Light Up 2026 FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show With Dynamic ‘Dynamite’ Performance
BTS took the stage at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final on Sunday at New York New Jersey Stadium. The group performed their 2020 track Dynamite for the audience in East Rutherford. This performance served as part of a larger halftime show that featured multiple global acts.
The event included appearances from artists such as Madonna, Justin Bieber, and Shakira. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin curated the show, which aimed to highlight a message of unity and education. Alongside the musical acts, the production involved the New York Philharmonic and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela.
Beyond the musical performances, the halftime show served as a fundraiser for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. Organizers announced during the broadcast that the initiative has raised more than $60 million to support education access for children around the world. The event also included segments featuring soccer stars and guest personalities.
BTS are scheduled to return to the same venue in August for their ongoing ARIRANG World Tour. Their appearance at the World Cup final marks another milestone for the group on a high-profile American stage.
