BTS continues to set records on streaming platforms. The group’s latest music video for the single NORMAL reached a new milestone on Friday by recording the most streams for a K-pop video in a single day on Spotify. This achievement confirms the massive reach of the septet as they continue to promote their fifth studio album titled ARIRANG.
The video premiered at midnight on Friday and remains available exclusively through the platform for its initial 48-hour release window. Directed by Tanu Muino, the visual captures the members in a private setting rather than their typical high-energy performance style. Fans can watch the content by navigating to the track on their preferred device and selecting the video option.
NORMAL serves as the second single from the ARIRANG project, following the success of the first single SWIM. The album reached the top of the Billboard 200 chart earlier this year, reinforcing the group's standing in the international market. Promotion for the song moves to pop radio stations starting the week of July 27.
As the group celebrates this streaming record, they remain on their global concert tour. Following shows in France, the members prepare for a co-headlining appearance at the FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show in New Jersey.
