Charli XCX has released a surprise set of B-sides for her latest album, Music, Fashion, Film. This follow-up to her popular record Brat features three tracks that were previously unavailable. These new songs are titled I Keep on Thinking Bout You Every Single Day and Night, Playboy Bunny, and If You Take Away the Music Then What Has She Got?
Each track arrives with a dedicated black-and-white music video. The visual aesthetic matches the tone set by the original album release. Charli XCX noted on her social media that she wanted to pair each song with a fitting counterpart. She described these tracks as adjacent to the album rather than central to it.
While the artist initially felt that these songs did not belong on streaming platforms due to their specific artistic intent, she opted to release them on iTunes following requests from her fan base. She joked about the decision to move these tracks to the store, calling herself a hypocrite for the change in strategy. This release arrives just days after the full-length album dropped.
