He links his personal resilience to his professional life. The "death" mentioned in his EP title does not refer to physical loss but to the potential end of his musical reach. He cited a line from the manga series "One Piece" to explain his perspective, noting that a person truly fades only when they are forgotten. This philosophy drives his commitment to continue making music that connects with an audience.

His departure from Enhypen in March caused notable tension among fans. The announcement from his agency, Belift Lab, sparked protests and intense scrutiny. Some fans even contacted the National Pension Service to express their anger regarding the change in the group lineup. Evan acknowledged these reactions during the press event, stating that he understood the disappointment felt by the community.
He remains focused on his current trajectory rather than dwelling on the logistics of his departure. When asked about the success of his former bandmates, who recently reached the top of the Billboard 200 chart with their album "The Sin: Bliss," he expressed pride in their achievements.
