Melvins and Mike Patton’s Tomahawk Kick Off 2026 Tour: Videos, Set Lists
The Melvins and Tomahawk kicked off their A Huge Waste of Your Time and Money tour this past Saturday night at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville. This marks a significant return for Tomahawk, as the band played their first live show since 2013. The set featured six live debuts from their 2021 album Tonic Immobility alongside staples from their catalog. Tomahawk includes Mike Patton of Faith No More and Mr. Bungle, Duane Denison of the Jesus Lizard, John Stanier of Helmet, and Trevor Dunn.
The Melvins continue to perform with their signature four-piece lineup featuring two drummers. Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover, Steven McDonald, and Coady Willis delivered a set list that spanned their history, including tracks from 2024's Tarantula Heart and 1993's Houdini. Trevor Dunn even joined his former bandmates on stage to help close out the night with a performance of Night Goat.
Fans can expect a tour that highlights both the established intensity of the Melvins and the long-awaited return of Tomahawk. The bands last toured together in 2003 and are scheduled to hit several major cities across the United States throughout the summer. The tour is set to conclude in Los Angeles on August 15.
