Phoebe Bridgers Returns to ‘Fallon,’ This Time for ‘Lost Boys (Acoustic)’
Phoebe Bridgers returned to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for a second consecutive night to showcase her latest work. She performed an acoustic version of her song Lost Boys, released formally to the public this evening.
This appearance follows her performance yesterday at Rockefeller Center, where she shared the stage with a group of young musicians. For this acoustic set, she chose to work with veteran band members to deliver a stripped-back interpretation of the single.
Lost Boys is a lead track from her upcoming solo album titled Lost Weekend. The record is set for release on August 14, marking her first solo project in six years since the debut of Punisher in 2020. The single itself features backing vocals from her bandmates in boygenius, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker. Production on the track included contributions from Jack Antonoff alongside collaborators Tony Berg and Ethan Gruska, with additional help from Alex G.
Fans can expect to see more of Bridgers on the road soon. Following the launch of her album, she begins the Lost Tour on September 15 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The tour serves as the primary support for her new material as she transitions back into solo performance cycles.
