Production is underway for the upcoming Beatles biopic project led by director Sam Mendes. Fans recently captured footage of the lead actors recreating the band's famous Abbey Road album cover. Paul Mescal portrays Paul McCartney, while Joseph Quinn plays George Harrison, Barry Keoghan appears as Ringo Starr, and Harris Dickinson takes the role of John Lennon.
The film project consists of four separate movies, each told from the perspective of a different band member. The narrative threads in these films connect to provide a broader view of the group's history. Apple Corps, the label managing the music rights, granted the production access to the full Beatles catalog for the project.
Supporting cast members include David Norton, Harry Lloyd, and Adam Pally, among others. Sony Pictures plans to release these four films in April 2028. While official plot details remain private, the production aims to bring a new perspective to the story of the band.
