Dermot Mulroney To Leave ‘Chicago Fire’ Early In Season 15
Dermot Mulroney will exit the long-running NBC series Chicago Fire early in the upcoming Season 15. The actor, who joined the cast as Chief Dom Pascal in Season 13, departs the show following a narrative hiatus during the latter half of Season 14.
His exit coincides with other changes at Firehouse 51. The Season 14 finale left the future of several characters in question after a high-stakes warehouse fire, and Season 15 will address the aftermath of that cliffhanger. The series is currently undergoing a leadership transition with Victor Teran stepping in as the new showrunner for the upcoming season.
Mulroney is also a series regular on the Netflix drama The Hunting Wives. His departure follows the recent news that Joe Miñoso will also finish his storyline early in the new season. Despite these exits, Taylor Kinney and Miranda Rae Mayo are confirmed to return for the new episodes. Da’Vinchi is slated to join the cast this fall as a new firefighter candidate.
