Shemar Moore returns to the screen as sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson in the upcoming Starz spinoff series S.W.A.T. Exiles. The series debut is set for September 25, 2026. This new project marks a pivot from the original show as Hondo transitions into a different kind of leadership role.

Additional members of the team bring their own baggage. Ronen Rubinstein plays Jude Callan, described as a wildcard prone to trouble. Adain Bradley is Malik Anderson, a sharp and ambitious officer who keeps secrets from the rest of the unit. The group faces immediate threats from cartel assassins and various gun-runners throughout Los Angeles.
