Telangana DCA seizes illegally stocked medicines in Hyderabad
The Telangana Drugs Control Administration recently executed a raid at a premises in the Chandrayangutta area of Hyderabad. Officials acted on intelligence regarding the unauthorized storage and sale of pharmaceutical products.
During the operation, authorities discovered an individual named Aslam Bin Salam Bajaber who was operating without the required drug license. The search yielded 11 varieties of medications, including multiple antibiotics, which were stored at the site for public sale.
All recovered stock, valued at approximately ₹18,000, was seized by the DCA. The administration has forwarded samples of the confiscated medicine to a laboratory for formal testing. An investigation remains active to determine the source of these drugs and to identify any broader network involved in this illegal trade.
