Four in Hyderabad found practising allopathy without required qualifications during TGMC inspections

The Telangana Medical Council recently conducted surprise inspections in the Alwal area of Hyderabad. During this operation, officials identified four separate establishments where individuals practiced allopathy without the necessary professional qualifications or legal registration.

Council members Gundagani Srinivas and Imran led the inspection efforts. This action is part of a broader, ongoing initiative by the council to address the issue of unauthorized medical practice in the city.

The findings confirm that these practitioners lacked proper authorization to provide allopathic treatments. In response, the Telangana Medical Council stated that it will initiate formal legal proceedings against those involved for violating the National Medical Commission Act and the Telangana Medical Practitioners Registration Act. These inspections serve as a reminder of the regulatory measures in place to ensure patient safety and maintain standards within the medical field.
