Pacific Pearl Shopping Center in Pleasanton is adding four new tenants to its retail lineup. The strip mall, anchored by 99 Ranch Market, continues to draw interest as a destination for specific Asian dining options. Among the new additions are Chicha San Chen, a Taiwanese boba tea chain, and Eight Turn Crepe, which offers gluten-free Japanese crepes made from rice flour.
Chicha San Chen is scheduled to open its doors in late August. This location follows the chain’s expansion into cities like Berkeley, Cupertino, and San Jose. Eight Turn Crepe plans a late September or early October launch. This will mark the New York-based brand's first entry into the Northern California market.
Two other notable tenants have signed leases for the property. HiroNori Craft Ramen will bring its Michelin-recognized bone broths and house-made noodles to the center. Yogurtland, the self-serve frozen yogurt chain, is also moving in to provide dessert options. Neither of these two businesses has confirmed an official opening date as of mid-August.
The Pacific Pearl property currently houses about two dozen retail and commercial businesses. By adding these food-focused brands, the shopping center remains a focal point for the regional Asian food market in the East Bay area.
