USA and Canada claim the first two NA Esports Nations Cup final spots

The North American qualifiers for the Esports Nations Cup have reached a significant milestone. Team United States and Team Canada secured their positions for the upcoming LAN finals in Saudi Arabia. Both squads entered the qualifier as top contenders and maintained their status throughout the bracket.

The United States faced a challenge against Mexico in their series. After dropping the opening map on Ancient 13-1, the American squad rallied to take Dust2 13-10. They followed this performance with a 13-6 victory on Mirage to seal the series 2-1 and lock in their qualification spot.

Canada maintained a more clinical pace in their matchups. Led by Joshua Nissan, the Canadian team dispatched Guatemala in a 2-0 sweep. They dominated the first map on Nuke with a 13-3 score and closed out the series by winning Mirage 13-6. Their superior depth proved to be the deciding factor against the Guatemalan side.

The final remaining slot for the North American region is still up for grabs. Mexico and Guatemala are scheduled to play a deciding match to determine which team will join the United States and Canada at the November finals. This upcoming fixture will conclude the regional qualifying phase for the event.
