An early, uncontrolled trial at a hospital gastroenterology department is evaluating an oral form of the peptide to address inflammatory bowel disease. Four patients in this pilot group saw their colitis enter remission within two months. These results are preliminary, and no peer-reviewed data exists to confirm the efficacy of oral GHK-Cu for IBD.
