SpaceX currently centers all of its Starlink launch activity at the Vandenberg facility. While the company once split these launches between California and the Space Coast in Florida, the firm recently paused the Florida-based Starlink flights. This shift is temporary and linked to preparations for the deployment of the Starship megarocket, which the company expects to carry the load for future satellite deployment missions.

These V3 satellites are larger and possess more technical capability than the current V2 models deployed in these routine missions. The long-term vision articulated by Elon Musk includes the assembly of a massive network consisting of approximately 100,000 V3 satellites in low Earth orbit.

The booster used today, B1088, is reaching a significant age, though it remains well under the current record of 37 flights held by the B1067 booster.
