Dodgers-Yankees Saturday game postponed; split DH Sunday
The highly anticipated weekend series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees faced a disruption on Saturday. Due to persistent inclement weather at Yankee Stadium, officials made the decision to postpone the game.
Both teams are now scheduled to compete in a split-admission doubleheader this Sunday. The first game will begin at 12:35 p.m. ET, featuring a pitching matchup between Cam Schlittler for the Yankees and Yoshinobu Yamamoto for the Dodgers. The start time for the second game is set for 7:20 p.m. ET.
Fans holding tickets for the Saturday game have specific options for attendance. These tickets remain valid for the first game on Sunday. Alternatively, ticket holders may exchange their passes for a different regular-season game at Yankee Stadium, subject to availability, according to the official team rain check policy.
Sunday gates will open at 11:00 a.m. ET for the matinee and approximately 6:00 p.m. ET for the evening contest. Television broadcast coverage for the doubleheader will be split between the YES Network and NBC/Peacock.
