Grandview Speedway hosted a competitive night of racing this past Saturday, with both feature events coming down to the final laps. Brett Kressley took home his first win of the 2026 season in the 30-lap T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment NASCAR Modified feature. Kressley secured the lead after a late race restart, overtaking Ron Haring Jr. with only five laps to go. This marks Kressley’s 31st career feature win at the track.
The 25-lap T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman feature saw Alex Bartorillo capture his first win of the season. Bartorillo took the lead on the third lap and maintained his position despite significant pressure from Brad Brightbill, who finished second after charging from the back of the field. Bartorillo became the eleventh different winner in this division so far this year.
The racing program operated under the NASCAR Local Racing Series banner. Aside from the main features, Jeff Strunk picked up a win in the Low-Down Entertainment Match races, earning a $500 bonus. Colin Cox earned the Hard Charger award in the Sportsman division after moving up 14 positions to finish tenth.
Grandview Speedway prepares for the 56th annual Forrest Rogers Memorial on August 8. The event features a 50-lap Modified race with a $10,000 top prize alongside the regular Sportsman program. Racing begins at 7:30 pm. Following that event, the track will host a Back to the Nineties night on August 15, offering grandstand admission for $10.
