Blue Blood Classic Coming to Allen Fieldhouse - University of Kansas
The University of Kansas men’s basketball team is set to host Duke in the Blue Blood Classic on Sunday, October 25. This exhibition game takes place at Allen Fieldhouse during Homecoming Weekend. This meeting between two historic programs brings Duke to Lawrence for the first time since 1988.
Ticket access begins for season ticket holders on July 29. Donors gain access to single-game tickets on August 20, while the general public can purchase tickets starting August 26. KU students should watch for information regarding All Sports Combo redemptions in early September. Merchandise for the event is available now at Jayhawk Outfitters.
This matchup follows two other home exhibition games on the Kansas schedule. The team hosts Pittsburg State on October 16 during the annual Late Night in the Phog event and Louisville on October 21. The game against Duke serves as the final exhibition contest for the 2026-27 season.
These programs share a history dating back to 1985. Their most famous encounter in Lawrence remains the 1988 meeting that saw the debut of the iconic Pay Heed, All Who Enter: BEWARE OF THE PHOG banner. Kansas later returns the visit to Cameron Indoor Stadium in October 2027.
