Back-to-back champion Sabalenka tops 2026 US Open entry list
Aryna Sabalenka leads the official entry list for the 2026 US Open. The reigning champion looks to continue her success in New York after securing back-to-back titles in 2024 and 2025. This release confirms the participation of 104 direct entrants for the final Grand Slam of the season.
The field includes 29 of the top 30 players in the current rankings. The entire top 10 is set to compete, including Australian Open winner Elena Rybakina, Jessica Pegula, Coco Gauff, and Roland Garros champion Mirra Andreeva. Past tournament winners Naomi Osaka and Emma Raducanu also appear on the direct entry list.
Injuries remain a factor as the tour heads toward the hard-court season. Victoria Mboko is not on the initial list while she recovers from a lower-body injury. The full field will reach 128 players once the 16 qualifiers and eight wild card recipients are named later this summer.
The tournament begins with a competitive baseline of established champions and emerging stars. Fans can expect a high level of intensity as the season concludes. Detailed information regarding the full draw is available through the official tournament resources.
