Ruud rounds out Team Europe's Laver Cup squad

Casper Ruud is officially the final addition to Team Europe for the 2026 Laver Cup. The Norwegian star will join Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Flavio Cobolli, Jakub Mensik, and Rafael Jodar for the competition held at The O2 in London this September.

This marks the sixth consecutive appearance for Ruud in the event. He currently holds a 6-3 record and remains a staple of the team format. Team Europe Captain Yannick Noah praised Ruud for his competitive nature and his commitment to the tournament atmosphere.

Team Europe aims to regain the title after a loss to Team World in the 2025 event held in San Francisco. The upcoming contest features a strong opposition led by Captain Andre Agassi. Team World roster includes Alex de Minaur, Ben Shelton, Taylor Fritz, Alexander Bublik, Learner Tien, and Tommy Paul.

Ruud enters this phase of the season with notable form, having reached the final in Rome earlier this year. Fans can expect a high level of competition as both sides prepare for the three-day event starting September 25.
