2026 Kia WNBA Shooting Stars Participants
The 2026 WNBA All-Star weekend in Chicago brings a unique showcase to Wintrust Arena on July 24 with the Kia WNBA Shooting Stars competition. This event pairs WNBA legends, active stars, and top high school talent in a timed shooting challenge designed to span the history and future of the game. Four teams represent key WNBA markets and franchises to compete for the title.
Legends taking part include Hall of Famers Elena Delle Donne and Lauren Jackson, alongside five-time champion Rebekkah Brunson and three-time champion Deanna Nolan. They will join current standouts such as Courtney Williams, Jessica Shepard, Shakira Austin, and rookie Flau’jae Johnson. Each team also features a participant from the Nike EYBL program to complete the tri-generational lineup.
Legendary players Cynthia Cooper and Teresa Weatherspoon will contribute to the event as designated passers. The competition requires teams to hit various shots from seven spots on the court within a 70-second window. The two teams with the highest scores from the opening round will move into the championship final to decide the winner.
Fans can watch the action live on ESPN, Disney+, and the ESPN App starting at 8 p.m. ET. This event serves as a lead-in to the main All-Star Game taking place at the United Center on Saturday, July 25.
