Seattle Storm's Dominique Malonga becomes youngest player to dunk in WNBA All-Star Game history
Seattle Storm center Dominique Malonga made league history during the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game. At age 20, she is now the youngest player to ever record a dunk in the annual showcase event.
The 6-foot-6 center converted the play in the second quarter after receiving a pass from Atlanta Dream star Angel Reese. Her performance made her the seventh player in the history of the league to successfully dunk during an All-Star Game.
Malonga remains a presence in the paint for the Storm. While she is still waiting for her first regular-season dunk, her ability to get above the rim is well-documented from her time playing in Europe and Unrivaled. She entered the game averaging 16.3 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in her sophomore season.
Teammate Flau'jae Johnson had joked before the game that she would not speak to Malonga if she failed to attempt the dunk. Malonga delivered, cementing her spot in the record books as the youngest athlete to achieve the milestone.
