Fudd, Mabrey, Howard among WNBA All-Star 3-point contestants
The field for the 2026 WNBA All-Star 3-point contest is set. The league announced on Tuesday that six players will compete in the shootout during the upcoming All-Star Weekend in Chicago.
Azzi Fudd headlines the group as a notable addition. She becomes the fourth rookie in league history to enter this specific event. While Fudd has made an impact in her first year, she joins a competitive field including Rhyne Howard, Marina Mabrey, Bridget Carleton, Natisha Hiedeman, and Janelle Salaun.
Mabrey currently leads the league in 3-pointers made this season with 82, followed closely by Howard with 79. The participant list highlights the top shooters in the league, with all six players ranking in the top 11 for 3-pointers made per game. While Howard and Mabrey bring prior contest experience to the floor, the other four are looking to make their mark on the event.
Contestants will navigate two timed rounds at the Chicago event. The structure includes five main shooting locations and two deep shots from the logo, which carry extra point values. The two shooters with the highest totals in the opening round will move on to the final. The event is scheduled for Friday at 8 p.m. ET.
