Texas Quantum Partners and Samara Real Property have unveiled plans to construct the Occam Foundry, a new quantum computing research campus in East Austin. The site sits near the existing Tesla gigafactory, positioning the facility within a rapidly growing industrial zone.

The project is designed to serve as a hub for universities, private companies, and researchers interested in the future of quantum technology. This infrastructure is intended to provide the necessary space and resources for groups to advance their work in this specialized field.

Developers are currently searching for a general contractor to oversee the construction phase of the campus. As Austin remains a hotbed for high-tech development, this project marks another significant move toward cementing the city as a center for advanced computing and hardware research.
