The quantum computing race is shifting as ZuriQ AG closes a 25.5 million dollar seed funding round. Led by Quantonation, this investment provides the resources needed to scale the company's 2D trapped-ion processor technology. Most current quantum systems rely on 1D chains of ions, which restricts the number of qubits that can fit on a chip.
