Samsung has officially brought the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 to store shelves across 106 global markets. These new wearables are now available to order following an initial pre-order period that began in late July. Both models ship with the latest Wear OS 7 software based on One UI Watch 9, bringing updated performance and health tracking tools to the wrist.
The Galaxy Watch 9 arrives in 40mm and 44mm sizes with both Wi-Fi-only and LTE configurations available. Samsung focused on comfort for this generation by redesigning the watch strap for better airflow. The base price for the 40mm Wi-Fi model starts at $379.99, with regional pricing varying across Europe, Australia, India, and South Korea.
For users requiring heavy-duty performance, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 represents the flagship tier. This model comes strictly in a 45mm size with LTE connectivity as a standard feature. It includes a titanium case and is built to handle extreme environments with IP69K dust and water resistance alongside EN13319 diving ratings. The Ultra 2 is priced at $699.99 in the US market.
Under the hood, both watches feature the new Snapdragon Wear Elite processor. Samsung also increased battery capacity for both devices to support the hardware improvements. These watches aim to provide a more responsive experience through refined software optimizations and more efficient power management systems.
