Apple Watch just gained a brand-new app for AI meeting notes

Granola, the meeting note application, now operates on watchOS. This update allows users to capture meeting audio and notes directly from an Apple Watch, removing the need for a laptop or phone during in-person sessions. Whether in a whiteboard meeting, a coffee shop chat, or a walking one-on-one, the watch provides an unobtrusive recording point.

To begin recording, a user taps the app on their watch. The screen turns green and a sound plays to confirm the device is capturing audio. Users can also set up a watch face complication to start the process with a single tap. Once the session ends, the app syncs the data across connected Apple devices.

This move highlights the shift of the Apple Watch toward more capable AI processing. With watchOS 27, Apple has introduced a more advanced Siri and a dedicated application for managing conversations across platforms.
