HarmonyOS 6.1 reaches global Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro with new UI changes
Huawei is currently rolling out the HarmonyOS 6.1 update for the Watch Fit 4 Pro on a global scale. This firmware, identified as version 6.1.0.117 SP20, introduces significant changes to the interface and adds specific functional improvements to the wearable device.
Key additions include new watch faces such as Sweet Companions and Bubble Aura, which provide interactive animations and reaction effects. Users also gain access to a dedicated Recorder app and the new Nap Summary feature, which tracks and summarizes short periods of sleep. Interaction with the device is more convenient with the ability to mute incoming calls by covering the watch screen.
Personalization options have increased with this build. Owners can now select custom ringtones for calls and modify vibration patterns for alarms. Workout tracking sees updates as well, with the inclusion of average pace data in training status and a new shortcut screen for adjusting volume or settings during exercise sessions.
Performance tracking receives a boost through clearer metrics that distinguish between aerobic and anaerobic activities. The update also improves connectivity by supporting remote shutter release and speech-to-text input when paired with Android phones. Users are encouraged to ensure the Huawei Health app is running version 16.0.12.305 or later to receive proper battery notifications.
