New Pixel Watch 5 leak puts 41mm and 45mm options head to head
Google is preparing to launch the Pixel Watch 5 on August 12. Recent hardware leaks show the upcoming smartwatch arriving in two distinct sizes. The company continues to offer both 41mm and 45mm options for this iteration.
New images leaked by Evan Blass provide a clear side by side comparison of the two sizes. The 41mm model is shown in a Dark Anthracite finish while the larger 45mm version is pictured in a Pyrite colorway. Additional finish options include Silver for both sizes and Gold for the 41mm model.
Hardware details confirm the return of the side charging port found on the previous generation. While users have expressed interest in wireless charging updates, current documentation suggests this traditional contact-based charging method remains the primary hardware interface for the new watch.
The device has already appeared within the Google Health app ahead of the official event. Reports indicate a potential price increase of 50 dollars for this generation, placing it at a higher tier than its predecessor. Consumers can expect to see the full device lineup during the company's scheduled summer launch event alongside the new Pixel 11 phone series.
