Evergreen Internet has officially announced a new fiber optic construction project serving the North and South Twin Lakes area. This initiative marks a partnership between Lehigh Valley Cooperative Telephone Association and Webster-Calhoun Cooperative Telephone Association. The companies aim to bring broadband infrastructure to this region by combining their experience in serving small rural communities.
Construction is set to begin in late summer of this year, with service installation slated for the spring of 2027. Central Cable Contractors of Waupun, Wisconsin, will handle the construction work, while Vantage Point Solutions provides engineering support. The project represents a commitment to providing long-term, reliable internet, television, and telephone services to the lake communities.
Property owners in the area are receiving information regarding the project. Evergreen Internet is requesting authorization from owners to install fiber lines to their homes or businesses. There is no cost for this initial work, and signing the authorization does not obligate residents to purchase services at this time. This phase allows the team to conduct site surveys and plan for future connections.
Lehigh Valley and Webster-Calhoun already provide service to Manson and Rockwell City. Leaders from both organizations state that they intend to bring the same standards to the Twin Lakes shoreline. While specific details on final service packages remain under review, the companies will release more information to residents as construction progresses.
