New Converged Connectivity Offering

Visible has released a new service tier titled Visible One, marking the first time the digital-focused brand has combined its mobile plans with fiber home internet under a single billing structure. This change aims to simplify the subscription process for consumers who rely on Verizon network infrastructure. The service is available now for customers who have an existing and inactive Optical Network Terminal (ONT) installed in their residence.

Management describes this move as a shift toward streamlined connectivity. David Kim, the President of Verizon Value, noted that millions of homes contain pre-wired fiber infrastructure that remains idle. Visible One targets these specific households to provide a faster and more stable alternative to fixed wireless services. By allowing users to handle the activation process themselves, the brand avoids the logistical overhead of technician-led installations.

Structure and Pricing Models

The pricing strategy for Visible One splits into two distinct tiers. The entry-level option costs $50 per month for the first two months, requiring a $100 upfront payment. After this introductory period, the price adjusts to $55 per month. This plan provides the base mobile service alongside fiber internet speeds of 300/300 Mbps.

For high-demand users, the company introduced the Visible+ Pro One tier. This premium option is priced at $75 per month. It includes the elevated Visible+ Pro mobile plan with access to 5G Ultra-Wideband and a smartwatch line, paired with 1 Gb fiber home internet speeds. Both tiers include the necessary networking hardware, which customers keep after maintaining their service for three consecutive months.

Operational Differences and Market Access

Unlike traditional internet providers that often utilize hidden add-ons to inflate monthly invoices, Visible maintains a policy of transparent pricing. The plans include taxes and fees within the stated cost. There are no annual contracts to sign, and the company performs no credit checks for new applicants. This represents a departure from standard telecommunications industry practices where credit history verification is common.

Technical setup is designed for the end user. Because the service relies on existing ONT hardware, customers activate their connection through the official website. This self-directed approach eliminates common expenses such as activation fees or monthly equipment rental charges. For those located outside the current fiber footprint, Visible continues to market its separate 5G Home Internet service.

Industry Context and Strategic Direction

This launch fits into a broader trend of convergence within the telecommunications sector. By bundling services, companies like Verizon seek to increase customer retention and simplify the household budget. Visible has previously focused on digital-only mobile experiences, and adding fixed-line fiber represents a significant expansion of its reach.

History shows that providers who successfully migrate mobile users to home fiber bundles see higher stickiness in their subscriber base. Visible remains a division of Verizon, and this product draws directly from the established Fios network architecture. Market observers should watch how these transparent, no-contract terms influence competitor pricing in the fiber-to-the-home space over the next year.
