Everything New in iOS 27 Beta 4

Apple released the fourth developer beta for iOS 27 today. This build contains fewer additions than previous versions as the company shifts focus toward final stability before the public launch in September.

Key changes appear in the Apple TV app, where a new toggle manages automatic downloads for episodes in your Continue Watching queue. The Photos app now includes a Zoom to Fill setting enabled by default. Users will also notice a refined Siri voice selection interface and updated settings to manage preview lengths and transcriptions in accessibility menus.

Professional video creators have new options within the Camera settings, specifically the ability to select ProRes Log or Log 2 formats for improved color grading flexibility. Connectivity settings also gained granularity, allowing users to toggle Connectivity Assist for specific Wi-Fi networks individually.

Hardware hints are also present in the code. Beta 4 contains references to an iPhone utilizing a dual-battery configuration, which matches rumors surrounding the development of a foldable iPhone model. While Apple removed the notification center wallpaper cutout introduced in the previous beta, they expanded the Control Center options for AirPods to include more precise control over Adaptive modes.
