At least 37 people died after a Russian drone strike hit a warehouse in the village of Myla on the outskirts of Kyiv late Friday. The inquiry focuses on potential negligence regarding the storage of explosive materials at the facility. Investigators are specifically reviewing whether the warehouse held the required legal permits and whether officials responsible for safety decisions at the site followed standard procedures.

Escalation of Long-Range Strikes
Russian forces targeted multiple regions over the weekend. A drone strike in Kherson killed two people on Saturday, while another attack in the Odesa region resulted in one death and the destruction of eight food transport trucks. Additionally, local authorities in Kyiv’s Sviatoshynskyi district reported that two people were injured during the same series of strikes.
Data from the Ukrainian air force indicates that Russia launched one Onyx anti-ship missile, one Iskander ballistic missile, and 267 drones since Friday evening. Ukrainian air defenses neutralized 233 of these drones. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called for a significant increase in Ukrainian long-range capabilities, setting an operational goal of 1,000 drone strikes per day to counter current Russian logistics tactics.
