Two more Wildberries warehouses burn in Russian regions after Ukrainian drone attacks

Two additional Wildberries warehouses suffered fire damage following drone attacks on July 30. Logistics centers in the Penza region and the Udmurt Republic were targeted overnight. The company confirmed that employees were evacuated from both facilities after air raid sirens began sounding.

Local reports state that one person sustained injuries during the strike near the village of Mastinovka in the Penza region. Preliminary assessments of the warehouse in Sarapul indicate no casualties at that location. Wildberries is Russia’s largest marketplace, and these incidents mark a continuation of recent activity involving their supply chain infrastructure.

Russian defense officials reported that their systems intercepted 258 drones across various regions, occupied Crimea, and surrounding maritime areas during the same period. This event represents part of a broader pattern of strikes against the marketplace. Since the middle of July, 13 different Wildberries facilities have been hit by similar attacks.

Ukrainian officials maintain that these warehouses are used to store drone components and other dual-use items. The strikes target the logistics capacity of the marketplace as the conflict continues to impact commercial infrastructure within the region. Authorities and company representatives remain on site to manage the aftermath of the fires and assess the total damage to the properties.
