Passionfroot raises $15M to expand its B2B creator marketplace to the US
Passionfroot, a Berlin-based startup, secured $15 million in a Series A funding round. Insight Partners led the investment. The company operates a marketplace connecting B2B creators with brands that need to reach specific professional audiences. With this new capital, CEO Jen Phan is moving to New York to open an office and grow U.S. operations. The company is also establishing a presence in São Paulo to support its global expansion.
The demand for B2B creator marketing stems from a crowded software market. As AI makes product development faster, new features flood the market. Marketing leaders report that buyers now look to trusted creators on platforms like LinkedIn, newsletters, and podcasts for product discovery. Passionfroot aims to capture this shift by providing a platform that manages campaign execution and performance tracking.
Passionfroot reported 13 times revenue growth over the past year. Notable clients on the platform include Figma, ElevenLabs, and Replit. The company has facilitated $10 million in payments to creators over the last 18 months. Beyond basic marketplace functions, the platform includes an AI agent called Zest. This tool helps brands identify creators aligned with their marketing strategy and monitors campaign outcomes.
The startup plans to introduce features that track how brand presence impacts AI citations and search results. It also intends to provide monetization guidance and content suggestions for its creators. The company has raised over $21 million in total funding. Existing investors Creandum, Supernode Global, and s16vc participated in this latest round, joining Insight Partners to support the next phase of growth.
