Daily Chew is launching a new community art program on August 27 in Morningside. The cafe will host an Artist Harvest Dinner to introduce the exhibition titled Manna. Curated by Micaela Elle Art Advisory, the display features works from Southeast artists including Laura Deems, Cameron Wilson Richter, Jordan Patterson, Melanee Brown, and Christa Collins. This exhibition draws inspiration from the shared South African Jewish heritage of Daily Chew founder Julia Kesler Imerman and highlights the intersection of food and tradition.

The project reflects a commitment to supporting local farmers and artisans by expanding that support to include regional creators. According to Imerman, the decision to integrate art into the dining space serves as a method to bring the community together and provide more opportunities for neighborhood connection. The collection will remain on display through late November.

Beyond this art program, the Atlanta community is active with several upcoming events. Ramah Darom is hosting a Sukkot retreat in the North Georgia mountains from September 25 to 28, offering a space for families to celebrate the holiday in a nature-focused environment. Registration for the retreat closes on September 2.

Additionally, the MJCCA in Dunwoody will host a wheelchair basketball exhibition titled Champions for Life on August 30. This event features Israeli athletes Asael Shabo and Ibrahim Baho to promote disability inclusion and adaptive sports. Attendance is free, but registration is required to participate in the activities.
