A new rendering has emerged for 37 West 66th Street, an upcoming 25-story project on Manhattan's Upper West Side. Developed by Extell Development and designed by Stephen B. Jacobs Group, this structure stands 355 feet tall and covers 384,962 square feet. It contains 158 condominium units alongside 192,481 square feet of dedicated commercial space.
The tower features a rectangular massing with cutout corner balconies and stepped setbacks that lead to an Art Deco-inspired crown. Warm limestone surrounds a grid of floor-to-ceiling windows. The building connects to the site previously held by ABC studios and sits near the site of a separate, 1,200-foot residential supertall planned by Robert A. M. Stern Architects.
Crews are active at the site, with excavators and piling machines on the ground. The southern facade of the adjacent structure was already removed during initial site work. Completion for the building is expected in December 2029. The location offers residents close proximity to Lincoln Center and Central Park, with transit access provided by the 1 train at the 66th Street station.
