Footage has surfaced of singer-songwriter Glen Hansard performing a previously unreleased track just hours before his death. Hansard played the song on acoustic guitar while a second musician joined in toward the conclusion of the piece.

Hansard grew up performing on the streets of Dublin before gaining fame with the bands The Frames and Swell Season. He also earned an Academy Award for his contributions to the film Once. His career was defined by a strong connection to his home city and his work supporting the local community.
