Morrissey has officially canceled his upcoming Las Vegas residency. The four-show run was scheduled for the Encore Theater at the Wynn Las Vegas between August 14 and 19. Ticket holders received notification on Friday that the events are off the books due to unspecified logistical challenges.

This cancellation follows a pattern of erratic scheduling for the 67-year-old singer. Earlier this year, he scrapped a performance in Madrid, citing severe sleep deprivation caused by nearby construction noise. At that time, he claimed the disruption put him in a catatonic state and stated he would require a year to recover.

His history includes other notable performance issues. In 2025, he canceled two shows in the United States after reports of a credible death threat aimed at a separate show in Ottawa. He also canceled a string of North American dates in 2024 without providing specific reasons beyond vague logistical or unforeseen circumstances.

The Wynn Las Vegas has already removed the event pages from their entertainment schedule, and Ticketmaster listings now confirm the cancellation for all affected dates. Neither the singer nor his management have issued a detailed public statement regarding the change beyond the initial notification sent to customers.
