Anthrax has dropped the official music video for Everybody's Got A Plan. This track serves as the third single from their upcoming album, Cursum Perficio, which hits stores on September 18. The video showcases the band on the road, featuring live performance footage captured during their recent stint supporting Iron Maiden at the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica in Lisbon, Portugal.
Bassist Frank Bello describes the visual as a representative look at the band's life while on tour. Drummer Charlie Benante noted that the video matches the speed of the song and highlights the band's enjoyment on the road. Guitarist Scott Ian echoed these sentiments, stating that the project successfully captures the energy and camaraderie of the group.
Cursum Perficio marks the first full-length record from the New York hard rock legends since their 2016 release For All Kings. The album will be released through Megaforce in the United States and Nuclear Blast in Europe. Production was handled by Jay Ruston and the band members themselves, with sessions taking place at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Los Angeles during 2022.
To celebrate the launch of the new record, the band members will hold a late-night signing event at Guestroom Records in Louisville, Kentucky. The event is scheduled for the early morning of September 18, immediately following their performance at the Louder Than Life festival. Space for this signing is restricted to fans who pre-order the album through the store's specific link.
The new record includes tracks like Persistence Of Memory, The Long Goodbye, and the title track. Fans can expect various physical formats, including Target-exclusive editions, zoetrope vinyls, and other limited variants. This album continues the band's history in the industry after a decade of anticipation from their audience.
